Students told to make use of innovation centre at Acharya Nagarjuna University

The engineering students of PACE Engineering College were asked to make best use of the innovation centre set up at Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU). 

The TePP Outreach-cum-Cluster Innovation Centres (TOCICs) organised a two-day Make-in-India workshop at PACE Engineering College in association with PRISM Scheme of Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) and Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on Thursday and Friday.

Jakkula Vishnuvardhan, coordinator of TOCIC at ANU, informed that TOCIC at ANU is the first innovation centre set up in the State. He explained in detail about various schemes introduced by the State government and encouraged students and budding entrepreneurs to come forward with innovative ideas to avail aid of Rs 2 lakh to Rs 50 lakh from the State government. 

Prof Vijay Sekhar asked budding entrepreneurs to make use of sops under Make in India programme to set up start-ups.
